Do This: 'The Essence of Oddity' art show

Oddity Tattoo Studio might be best known for the art it creates on its living canvases, but the popular downtown parlor also doubles as a more traditional gallery featuring art by local and regional artists.

This Saturday, Oddity presents "The Essence of Oddity," a collection of works by local illustrator and Ringling College graduate Alex Pitthan.

Running through Sept. 26, the exhibit will feature a collection of Pitthan's illustrations that embody the Oddity aesthetic.

Stop by for the opening at 7 p.m. this Saturday, at Oddity Tattoo Studio and Gallery, 1778 Main St. Free.
