Runs from 1 to 4 p.m. at JDub's Brewing Co., 1215 Mango Ave. JDub's, in partnership with Cat Depot, will host an event in honor of Cat Depot’s “spokescat,” Bow-Tie. A specially crafted beer called Bow-Tie’s Brew will be available. Guests who wear a bow tie will receive $1 off their first beer. Auditions: Sarasota Medieval Fair
Start at 9 a.m. at Ringling Woods, behind Robarts Arena, 3000 Ringling Blvd. Open auditions will take place for the Sarasota Medieval Fair. Re-enactors, players and combatants are welcome to participate in the 14th century battle between the Scots and the English. No weapons, kilts or monologues are required.
