At 506 Burns Court in downtown Sarasota, a bright pink and purple building was added to the arts landscape when the Burns Court Cinema opened its doors. The cinema became home to the Sarasota Film Society and has since played independent and critically acclaimed films for the community. In its opening weekend, the films showing included "Much Ado About Nothing."
