Information only: A man called the Sheriff’s Office because the landscapers who maintain the shopping plaza behind his residence begin working early in the morning, sometimes at 5 a.m. The man said he had been working with the county code enforcement office but they advised him to call the Sheriff’s Office when the noise started, as the code enforcement office does not open that early.
Fantasy boyfriend gets real

Battery: A man went into a convenience store and began to flirt with one of the store's employees. She was unsuccessful in getting him to leave her alone, so she asked another man to pretend to be her boyfriend so the first man would leave her alone. Her “boyfriend” told the other man to leave, and the two began fighting in the store. After the Sheriff’s Office arrived, the three decided not to press charges.

Destructive device: A woman called to report that her mailbox had been blown up at 2:55 a.m. by an unknown person. She said she didn’t see any one in the area at the time. A neighbor had told her they had also heard the explosion but didn’t see anyone.

Criminal mischief: A man called the Sheriff’s Office because an unknown person had kicked in his front door. The person did not enter the house or destroy any other property. The damage was estimated at $300.
