1 — The Riverview High boys basketball team is ranked No. 2 in Class 8A in the first Florida Association of Basketball Coaches and Source Hoops state rankings.

2 — Riley Forman scored 17 points, as the Booker High boys basketball team remained unbeaten with an 83-55 victory versus Manatee Dec. 9.

3 — Arie Bass finished with 22 points, 13 rebounds and four steals to lead the Booker High girls basketball team to a 51-30 victory against Wauchula Hardee in district action Dec. 9.

4 — Kendall Johnson and Amad Brayboy scored 13 points apiece as the ODA boys basketball team beat Evangelical Christian 59-49 Dec. 8.

5 — Riverview alum Nick Havener had 18 points and 11 rebounds for Boston University during its game versus Harvard Dec. 8.
