1 — The St. Martha Catholic School boys basketball team won the Florida Gulf Coast League Championship Dec. 10. 

2 — Freshman Mariah Hochstetler scored a basket at the buzzer in overtime to propel the Sarasota Military Academy girls basketball team to a 56-55 victory versus Braden River Dec. 14. 

3 — Eunique Arnold and Tyrieke Blakeney combined for 41 points as the Booker High boys basketball improved to 8-0 with a 73-68 victory versus Venice Dec. 14. 

4 — Jacqueline Kulle tallied 18 points in the Cardinal Mooney girls basketball team’s 53-33 victory versus Clearwater Central Catholic Dec. 11. 

5 — Jordan Litwiller and Brandon Bontrager combined for 37 points as the Sarasota Christian boys basketball team rolled to a 60-36 victory versus Canterbury School of Florida Dec. 10.
