Key condo projects boom

The town issued Infinity condominium its building permit this week, meaning construction will soon begin on the residential building of the new 11-unit luxury condominium.

“They are getting the dirt work and site work underway for the residential building,” said spokeswoman Alisa Bennett.

Work on the clubhouse building, which will house the fitness center, is in progress and will be completed in April. Residences will have between 3,380 and 5,456 square feet.

The Park Residences

How is construction progressing at The Park Residences, Lido Key’s first new condominium development since 2007?

“This morning at 4, we poured our first-floor slab,” said co-developer and Ocean Real Estate Ltd. principal Patrick DiPinto III on Friday afternoon. “We expect six weeks from now, all the levels will be in place and we will have our topping off party.”

Each of the condo’s 18 units will have 2,458 or 2,460 square feet and three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Six residences will be penthouses with private rooftop access.

Construction began in November.

Aria

Price range: $3.44 million to $4.25 million

The latest developments for Aria condominium: Concrete for the fifth and final level of the condominium is being poured, and, as of Saturday, the 16-unit project is completely sold out.

“We’re right on schedule, so we’re very pleased,” project spokeswoman Amy Drake said.

Restoration of the 1935 Villa Am Meer home on the property was completed in 2014 and will eventually become the condo’s clubhouse. Construction of the condominium began last summer.
