Midnight Pass Road will soon be the site of a one-of-a-kind property as a two-unit, multifamily building nears completion at 1136 Windsong Lane.

The multifamily complex is divided into two homes with six bedrooms and five baths each. When completed, the townhomes will each have three stories of living space with a garage on the fourth floor.

Both 5,000-square-foot homes will have Gulf views with private, gated access.

“It’s a phenomenal property,” said Costa Stratos, one of the listing agents, with RE/MAX Tropical Sands. Steve Cavanaugh is the other agent.

As a special amenity, the roof will have two private saltwater pools and a spiral staircase up to a sundeck.

Richard Salerno, the developer, will occupy one of the townhomes. The other unit is listed at $2.49 million, or about $530 per square foot. Each unit has its own address; they share only the driveway and a wall.

The fourth floor is currently under construction, and Stratos predicted the townhomes would be completed in the next six months.

The property site was previously home to a duplex, which was demolished.
