A few weeks after moving to Los Angeles to further pursue a professional music career, hometown indie-pop band, Good Graeff, has reached another career landmark. Earlier this week, the group's new single, "I Want That," was featured on MTV's Artists website, which features "top artists hand picked by the MTV Artists team."
In a Facebook post, MTV gave the band high praise, saying "Think we may have found our new favorite act of 2015."
The song, which was recorded late last year in Los Angeles, is a bouncy, upbeat sing-along with a catchy hook, playful cello lines and delicate vocals delivering memorable lyrics, such as, "And your name's in my mouth like a flame that I can't put out / And I wouldn't if I wanted to / I might forget you if I do."
The single is the first release from the band's forthcoming EP, "Good Job Go."
