Darwin's on 4th is going mobile.

After a soft launch this Saturday, the Peruvian-inspired restaurant officially launches its very own food truck at 5 p.m. this evening at partner business, Darwin Brewing Co., in Bradenton.

Now, in addition to the craft beers available in the brewery's taproom, customers will also be able to enjoy a selection of the partner restaurant's popular menu items, including:

  • Pork, chicken and chorizo tacos ($3 each)
  • Plantain chips ($3)
  • Tapas items, such as barbecue guava-glazed salmon ($8)
  • Braised short ribs ($8)
  • Peruvian pulled chicken spring rolls ($8)
  • Beef empanadas ($6)
  • Pork belly with kimchee ($6)
  • Salchi papas ($6)
  • Shrimp ceviche ($8)
  • Non-alcoholic Peruvian beverages, chicha morada ($3) and inka-kola ($2)

The food truck will be open at the brewery from 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, noon to 10 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.

"We're excited to offer regular food options at the brewery," says Media Director Lisa Sobota. "It's an option that's popular at a lot of other breweries, and it's a great fit with Chef Darwin's history and love for supporting local ingredients."
