Daiquiri Deck reopens
Daiquiri Deck Raw Bar St. Armands, 325 John Ringling Blvd., reopened Feb. 18, after a three-month renovation. The project expanded the restaurant into the first floor, added approximately 1,500 square feet and 75 seats to the restaurant’s existing 2,000 square feet and 200 seats on the second floor.

The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. For information, call 388-3325.

Pettingell attends luxury summit
Roger Pettingell, of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate’s Longboat Key office, attended NRT LLC’s Global Luxury Summit Feb. 8 and Feb. 9, at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn, in Napa Valley, Calif.

Pettingell was one of 35 of the company’s Previews Property Specialists who attended the conference for luxury real estate agents, which included a networking session and panel of experts who shared global luxury trends and provided an update on the state of the luxury real estate market.

Pettingell was the No. 1 Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate sales associate in Florida for 2014 and has been the top-ranked Realtor in Sarasota and Manatee counties by sales volume for the past three consecutive years.

The Key Club to hold job fair
The Resort at Longboat Key Club will host a job fair from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 5 and March 6, at its Islandside Dining Room, 301 Longboat Club Road.

Positions are available at local Ocean Properties resorts, including the Key Club, Lido Beach Resort, Sandcastle Resort at Lido Beach and Holiday Inn at Lido Beach.

The following positions are available: housekeeping, banquets, hostesses, stewards, tennis court maintenance, front desk, servers, bartenders, bussers, engineering, cooks, pool and beach and golf course maintenance.
