Sarasota County deputies arrested an 18-year-old high school student suspected of dealing drugs in a Crunch gym parking lot after 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Michael Cramer was allegedly counting cash in his car near a bag of marijuana when an officer operating on a tip knocked on his window. “I’m on so much trouble,” Cramer said after the deputy put him in handcuffs, according to a probable cause affidavit.

“There’s a lot more in the trunk,” Cramer said as more deputies arrived at the fitness center located on the 3700 block of Bee Ridge Road.

Detectives seized about $4,300 in cash, more than six pounds of marijuana and nearly 750 illegal prescription pills, along with edible products and paraphernalia, following a search warrant.

The Sheriff’s Office has charged Cramer with possession of Cannabis with intent to sell, possession of Xanax with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia. The former two charges are felonies.
