Braden River Middle School’s Joanne Torlucci should probably be a contestant on “The Price is Right.”
The East County resident took the top award for the Observer Media Group’s “View for the Clue” contest.

This fall, in partnership with White Aluminum, the Observer inserted a clue describing a Sarasota or Manatee County landmark into our Daily Headlines email (visit yourobserver.com to sign up for yours — it’s free!). We then recapped the weekly clues during our “FYI Friday” video. If someone guessed the correct location, he or she was entered into a drawing for a backyard pergola from White Aluminum.
Torlucci won the honors.

The winning location was the Arthur Row Boat and Lighthouse home in Gillespie Park, in Sarasota.
