Following the success of the inaugural Pies and Pints series, the participating businesses have decided to share the wealth by donating $1,750 to All Faiths Food Bank.

Polpo Pizza Co. founders Danni Bleil and Tom Baril created the pizza and beer series to bring together local chefs and breweries. For four weeks, chefs from area restaurants including Indigenous, MADE, Darwin's on 4th and Pomona set up shop at Shamrock Pub alongside Polpo Pizza Co. to create custom pizzas to pair with local beers.

According to Bleil, the participating businesses decided to donate the money to help hungry families locally.

"It's important to us to make a difference right here in our own backyard," she said in a release.

Polpo Pizza Co. will continue to set up at Shamrock Pub each Thursday night throughout the summer.
