Rotary Club of Lakewood Ranch welcomes new president

Eva Rey hopes her tenure in her new position will be the gift that continues to give back.

Rey, Lakewood Ranch Town Hall executive director, is the incoming president of the Rotary Club of Lakewood Ranch. And, July 2, at the club's regular scheduled meeting, she shared her vision for the club's upcoming year.

Rey shared Rotary International's theme for the year, which is "Be a Gift to the World."

She said the concept applies to relationships with family and friends, and participation in your community.

"I know I won't change the world in a year, but I want to try," Rey said, as she outlined her vision for programming, boosting memerships and other goals.
