BREAKING BOUNDARIES
2:20 a.m. — 2500 block of Prospect Street
Civil Problem: In the early morning, a woman heard a crashing sound outside of her house. She went outside and found her wooden fence had been knocked over, and she saw her neighbors arguing nearby. An officer arrived on the scene and found another woman being restrained by her boyfriend. The officer told the woman to sit down, but within a minute she jumped up and attempted to punch her boyfriend’s sister. The boyfriend said he and his sister were trying to restrain the woman, who was drunk and out of control. In the process, they fell into the neighbor’s fence and knocked it to the ground. Because the knocked-over fence appeared to be an accident, the officer determined the incident was a civil matter.

PRIX FIXE

Other Disorderly Conduct: The manager of a fast food restaurant reported that a customer became angry about the price of his food order and caused a verbal disturbance. The man left the store before officers arrived on the scene.
