More than 50 members of the Temple Emanu-El congregation recently returned from 10-day trip to Israel. Rabbi Brenner Glickman led the trip that included exploring the desert fortress of Masada and a day in the Dead Sea. Participants also picked apples that were donated to Israel’s food pantries, made truffles in a chocolate factory, assisted in an archaeological dig, visited museums and historical sites, spent time in the Old City of Jerusalem and prayed at the sacred Western Wall.
