MONDAY, JULY 20

Summer Chef Jam  takes place from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shamrock Pub, 2257 Ringling Blvd. $25.

The Summer Chef Jam series, presented by Edible Sarasota and Chefs2U, continues at the Shamrock Pub.

This week’s featured restaurant is Louie's Modern, which will serve cashew pork belly with Amish cheddar grits paired with Darwin's Llama Mama sweet milk stout; ramen noodle carbonara paired with JDub's Ginger Wheat with black pepper and short rib tacos paired with Darwin Brewing Co.'s mango-pineapple-treated Summadayze IPA.


TUESDAY, JULY 21

+ Gator Club Originals — takes place at 9 p.m. at Gator Club, 1490 Main St. Free. 

SarasotaDay.com presents this monthly original live music series at the Gator Club.

This month's lineup includes three-piece rock ’n' roll act Hail Dale, the Kristopher Byerly Trio and singer/songwriter act the Lesa Silvermore Band. This marks the eleventh in the series, which is dedicated to showcasing original local talent.


WEDNESDAY, JULY 22

Good Graeff Home Show — takes place at 9 p.m. at Shamrock Pub, 2257 Ringling Blvd. Free.

Hometown twin-sister indie-pop act Good Graeff is back in town for a few days on its summer tour, and they've decided to play a last-minute show at one of their favorite local hangouts: the Shamrock Pub.

This free show will feature Good Graeff as well as local rock ’n' roll and soul band, Wild Root. If you missed them in Ybor City last Friday, now's your chance to catch them before they hit the road again.


THURSDAY, JULY 23

Sample Sarasota - A Twilight Foodie Market — takes place from 5 to 9 p.m. at Mandeville Beer Garden, 428 N. Lemon Ave. Free.

This free evening food market and extension of the Central Sarasota Farmers Market is a great evening option for foodies who can't make the regular Saturday event.

This new event, catered to foodies, is designed to highlight the area's best chefs, bakers, farmers, brew masters, food producers and more. Try free samples, browse the vendors and stick around for beer on tap at Mandeville.


FRIDAY, JULY 24

+ Growler's and Planned Parenthood Sex Triviatakes place at 7 p.m. at Growler's Pub, 2831 N. Tamiami Trail. Free.

Wednesday night trivia at Growler's Pub is already infamous in its own right. Now, to spice things up a bit, the pub has teamed up with Planned Parenthood to host a special night of sex trivia to help promote sexual health advocacy.

Enjoy custom-created trivia questions about everyone's favorite topic, beer, prizes and a special themed playlist.


SATURDAY, JULY 25

+ Beer, Bacon, Swine and Wine Summer Party takes place at 4 p.m. at Gecko's, 7228 55th Ave., Bradenton.

This summertime party at Gecko's on State Road 70 will feature beer from Big Top Brewing Co., which will be serving maple bacon beer, among others. Gecko's will be running its smoker and grill to serve up pork from Three Suns Ranch, and Republic National Distributing will be pouring glasses of wine.

Catch live music by Kettle of Fish, bar games, a cornhole tournament, cars from Tri County Jeepers and more.


SUNDAY, JULY 26
