They call her "Butterfly Barb" because three days a week Barbara Feinberg spends the morning and part of her afternoon volunteering at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens as a the Butterfly Garden curator. She arrives at 9 a.m. to clean out the butterfly cage where caterpillars are kept until they transform into butterflies then prunes the flowers and bushes throughout the garden.
"Gardens are nice and flowers and beautiful but with this type of garden you never know what's going to fly in or fly out," Feinberg said. "It just adds more drama."
