Local players named to All-Tournament team

Several Florida Burn players were named to the All-Tournament team at the 2015 Perfect Game WWBA 17U National Championships July 3 through July 10, at Perfect Game Park South at Lake Point Sports, in Emerson, Ga. 

Individual accolades include: 

Pitching

Eric Kimsey (Braden River) pitched seven innings, earning a win with an 0.00 ERA while striking out nine. 

Andrew Jones (Sarasota) pitched five innings and finished with a 0.00 ERA while allowing three walks and striking out five. 

Nick Long (Sarasota) pitched 11 innings and finished with a 2.55 ERA. Long allowed two walks while striking out 11. 

Batting 

Parke Phillips (Out-of-Door Academy) hit .389. 

Brian Dillingham (Braden River) hit .333. 

Tyler Dyson (Braden River) hit .333. 

Gabriel Lozada (IMG Academy) hit .333.
