Three-bedroom St. Armands Key home sells for $1.95 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between July 13 and July 17.

A home in John Ringling Estates tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Sarah Cortese, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 121 S. Washington Drive to David Morgan and Nancy Morgan, trustees, of Sarasota, for $1.95 million. Built in 1953, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,778 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $400,000 in 1988.

The Players Club
Denise Barratt, of Hanogate, England, sold her Unit 503 condominium at 1425 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Robert and Lisa Dorsey, of Cincinnati, for $1,822,000. Built in 1983, it has four bedrooms, four baths and 2,813 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.09 million in 2012.

Villa Di Lancia
Martha Comment sold her Unit 113 condominium at 2165 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Anthony and Joanne Kahn, of Longboat Key, for $1.5 million. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,445 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $713,100 in 1996.

Harbour Court
Deanna Brown sold her home at 2242 Harbour Court Drive to Laurence Hall and Flinn Dallis, of Longboat Key, for $1.3 million. Built in 1987, it has three bedrooms, three and a half baths, a pool and 2,960 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,195,000 in 2005.

Grand Bay
Joan Stiefel, trustee, sold the Unit 151 condominium at 3060 Grand Bay Blvd. to Robert and Francine Shaw, of Longboat Key, for $1,250,000. Built in 1994, it has three bedrooms, three and a half baths and 2,781 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $655,000 in 1994.

Salty Acres
HNS Inc. sold the Unit 103 condominium at 5621 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Christopher and Joy Daniels, of Harrisburg, Pa., for $561,000. Built in 1985, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,731 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $630,000 in 2004.

Longbeach
William Ball and Donna Papaleo, of Sarasota, sold their home at 691 Linley St. to Henry and Donna Smith, of Towson, Md., for $539,000. Built in 1977, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,820 square feet of living area.

The Shore
David Michelson, of Southborough, Mass., sold the Unit 206 condominium at 5757 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Sherrie Nickell, of Lakeland, for $440,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,561 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $290,000 in 1996.

Windward Bay
Isaak Daniel and Jan Schroeder, of Brookfield, Wis., sold their Unit PH3 condominium at 4540 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Bruce and Kathy Polon, of Marietta, Ga., for $319,500. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,096 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $199,000 in 2000. 

Bird Key
Marcella Hanlon sold her home at 222 Robin Drive to Alice Sample, of Sarasota, for $750,000. Built in 1974, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,198 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $250,000 in 1989.

Ann Coons, trustee, of Westlake Village, Calif., John McCallister, of Camden, Maine, Martha McCallister Penrod, of Grand Rapids, Mich., Joan McCallister, of Sarasota, and Marian Miller, of Georgetown, Texas, sold the Unit 705 condominium at 1212 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Karin Sanders, of New York City, for $365,000. Built in 1974, it has one bedroom, one bath and 1,116 square feet of living area.
