Condo unit at The Beaches sells for $2.1 million

A condominium in The Beaches of Longboat Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate.

A condominium in The Beaches of Longboat Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Ann Muckle and Antonino Treffletti sold their Unit 1008 condominium at 775 Longboat Club Road to Andrew Economos, of Scarsdale, N.Y., for $2.1 million. Built in 1984, it has four bedrooms, four baths and 2,386 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.15 million in 2001.

Sanctuary at Longboat Key Club
Richard Segall, Jay Webber, and Clare Segall, trustees, of Longboat Key, sold the Unit A-701 condominium at 535 Sanctuary Drive to Anne Elfstrum, trustee, of Cranbury, N.J., for $1,825,000. Built in 1990, it has three bedrooms, three and a half baths and 3,115 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.24 million in 2001.

The Water Club at Longboat Key
Cynthia Schrader, trustee, of DeKalb, Ill., sold the Unit 508 condominium at 1241 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Richard and Jane Schwartz, of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., for $1.55 million. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, four baths and 2,965 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $626,300 in 1996.

Country Club Shores
Teri-Ann Sax sold her home at 536 Yawl Lane to Steven and Debra Newman, of Longboat Key, for $1.4 million. Built in 2000, it has three bedrooms, three and a half baths, a pool and 4,832 square feet of living area. 

Grand Bay
Fred Howard, Barry Howard and Connie Schwartz, trustees, of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., sold the Unit 245 condominium at 3040 Grand Bay Blvd. to Barbara Mason, of Bloomfield, Conn., for $887,500. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, three and a half baths and 2,143 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $460,000 in 1996.

Donnie and Sammy Smith sold their Unit 145 condominium at 3060 Grand Bay Blvd. to Ned and Joan Winkelman, of Bloomfield, Mich., for $850,000. Built in 1994, it has three bedrooms, three and a half baths and 2,143 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $487,500 in 1995. 

Islands West
Valerie Olah, of Wyomissing, Pa., sold her Unit 4-A condominium at 2525 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Christina Reynolds, of Wyckoff, N.J., for $860,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,460 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $78,000 in 1976.

The Beaches of Longboat Key
Donald Nicell sold the Unit 705 condominium at 775 Longboat Club Road to James Brickman, trustee, of Plano, Texas, for $815,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,602 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.1 million in 2005

Sunset Beach on Longboat Key
James and Joleen Kane, of Lakeland, sold their Unit 1101 condominium at 2109 Gulf of Mexico Drive to David and Amanda Trocker, of La Canada Flintridge, Calif., for $635,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,358 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $620,000 in 2002.

Sleepy Lagoon Park
Jo Ella Nagy, of Pembrooke Pines, sold her home at 552 Juan Anasco Drive to Janet Salvage, of Longboat Key, for $620,000. Built in 1960, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,846 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $250,000 in 2000.

Corey’s Landing
Barbara Kupferberg, trustee, of Highland Park, Ill., sold the home at 3483 Byron Lane to Joseph and Dawn Steim, of Shirley, Mass., for $615,000. Built in 1990, it has three bedrooms, two and a half baths and 2,229 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $255,300 in 1990.

Longboat Sandpipers
Robert and Nancy Georges, of Lakeland, sold their Unit 101 condominium at 5635 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Peter Meyer and Julie Newnum-Meyer, of Lakeland, for $600,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,786 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $368,000 in 2011.

Key Towers South
Patrick and Patricia Vaughn sold their Unit 4-F condominium at 1750 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Kent and Patricia Lorence, of Buffalo, N.Y., for $525,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,781 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $395,000 in 2002.

Fairway Bay
Joseph and Jean Volpe, of New York City, sold their Unit 503 condominium at 1910 Harbourside Drive to Paul and Jo Ann Murphy, of Hinsdale, Ill., for $515,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 1,626 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $550,000 in 2008.

The Ambassador on Lido Beach
Mary Paviol, of Seattle, sold her Unit 605 condominium at 800 Benjamin Franklin Drive to James and Felicia LaReau, of Albany, N.Y., for $487,000. Built in 1978, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,150 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $125,000 in 1985.

Bayport Beach and Tennis Club
Ravi and Shirley Venkataraman, of Cookeville, Tenn., sold their Unit 744 condominium at 744 Bayport Way to Milena Henzlova, of New York City, for $457,500. Built in 1983, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,456 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $300,000 in 2011.

M. Michael Charnas, of Cleveland, sold his Unit 517 condominium at 517 Bayport Way to Ravi and Shirley Venkataraman, of Cookeville, Tenn., for $350,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,260 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $85,000 in 2008.

Lido Harbour Towers
Beverly Pieper, of Monkton, Md., sold her Unit 203 condominium at 1770 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Avis Krag, of Shelburne, Vt., for $435,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,168 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $545,000 in 2004.

Lido Surf and Sand
Linda Thomas, of Sarasota, sold her Unit 316 condominium at 1104 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Brian and Leslie Coyne, of Sarasota, for $385,000. Built in 1976, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,456 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $599,000 in 2007.

Harold and Connie West, of Commerce, Ga., sold their Unit 317 condominium at 1104 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Mark and Diana Holdinghausen, of Washington, Mo., for $375,000. Built in 1976, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,494 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $320,000 in 2002.

Dock on the Bay
Susan Mayes, of Hummelstown, Pa., Jay Dickerson, of Golden, Colo., and Bradley Dickerson, of Breckenridge, Colo., sold their Unit 6 condominium at 3440 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Hwa Beyer, trustee, of Sarasota, for $375,000. Built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,679 square feet of living area. 

The Riviera of Lido Beach
Peter and Monica Erlen sold their Unit 2-A condominium at 131 Garfield Drive to Edmund and Susan LaCross, of Ann Arbor, Mich., for $315,000. Built in 1978, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,215 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $103,500 in 1983.

Whitney Beach
Arthur Stoffel III and Janet Stoffel Ward sold their Unit 124 condominium at 6700 Gulf of Mexico Drive to James and Esther Heitler and Richard Heitler and Tamar Rogoff-Heitler, of Ann Arbor, Mich., for $310,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,441 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $139,000 in 1985. 

Beach Harbor Club
Carol Murphy, of Longboat Key, sold her Unit B-403 condominium at 3804 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Frederick King and Christopher King, trustees, of Tinley Park, Ill., for $296,000. Built in 1970, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,465 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $200,000 in 1998.

The Presidential
Maryellen Dudley, trustee, of Cumming, Ga., sold her Unit 408 condominium at 845 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Vinton and Dianne Trefz, of Sarasota, for $280,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 991 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $45,000 in 2001.

Maryellen Dudley, of Cumming, Ga., sold her Unit 308 condominium at 845 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Vinton and Dianne Trefz, of Sarasota, for $245,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 991 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $107,400 in 1988.

Spanish Main Yacht Club
Mary McNamara, of Canton, Mich., and Elizabeth Leleszi, of Westland, Mich., trustees, sold the Unit 189 condominium at 684 El Centro to Edwin and Mary Ortiz, of Sarasota, for $240,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,097 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $84,500 in 1991.
