Food havens like Brooklyn, Austin, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Chicago and Miami are all there on the Food Network's online restaurant guide. Sarasota and 13 of its restaurant are now on that vetted list for food experts and traveling foodies alike.

Highlighted along with a recent article, Food Network describes Sarasota as a cross between, "...the cosmopolitan edge of big city living with the small town vibes of a tiny beach town." This healthy balance between metropolitan attitude and small town craft and ingredients has created a food and restaurant community rapidly expanding into the national scene.
