MONDAY, MARCH 16

Manic Mondays — takes place at 10 p.m. at the Beach Club. Free.

It’s spring break season, so head out to Siesta Key and live it up like you’re on vacation, too.

Hosted by the Beach Club, this weekly event features live music and drink specials to help kick your week off right.

TUESDAY, MARCH 17

St. Patrick's Day Block Party —takes place from 9 a.m. to midnight at Shamrock Pub. Free.

Come get lucky at this seventh annual downtown block party, which features live music by seven bands, corned beef and pub grub from Nancy's BBQ, a custom-brewed beer by Darwin Brewing Co., raffles and more. Proceeds benefit the Sarasota Family YMCA Youth Shelter.

Bands include the City of Sarasota Pipe Band, Andrew Thomas, Hail Dale, Bird Tribe, The Dram, Big Blu House and Wild Root.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18

The Finch Run — takes place at 6 p.m. at Darwin Brewing Co., Bradenton.

This weekly fun run takes place every Wednesday at the Darwin Brewing Co. Taproom. The 5k course takes runners on a safe and easy loop before ending back at the Taproom.

Prizes for participants after their 10th, 25th and 50th run. Runners of all ages (21 and up) are invited to get fit and enjoy a few social beers.

THURSDAY, MARCH 19

BBQ and Brews Dinner — takes place at 7:30 p.m. at Nancy's Bar-BQ. $40, including gratuity.

Enjoy a night of barbecue and beer pairings from Nancy's Bar-BQ and Kansas City, Mo.-based Boulevard Brewing Co.

This private, plated-service meal features four courses and six craft beers. The meal will feature an appetizer, a salad, a choice of entrée and a dessert. Call 366-2271 for reservations.

FRIDAY, MARCH 20

Drag Queen Bingo Pageant — takes place at 8 p.m. at the Player's Theatre. $20.

Join Beneva Fruitville, Tamiami Trails and the rest of the Drag Queen Bingo gang in this laugh-filled performance, featuring six men in drag, all competing for varying beauty pageant titles.

The audience votes, so come help pick who will get to wear the sought-after crown.

SATURDAY, MARCH 21

s/ART/q Print Party — takes place from 5 to 10 p.m. at The HuB. Free. $5 for prints.

Local art collective and brainchild of Tim Jaeger and Joseph Arnegger, s/ART/q is back.

Come help kick off the return of the now 501(c)(3) organization with this print party. Free admission, and $5 for a screen print on a brought item of your choice.
