Bird Key home sells for $1.79 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between March 2 and March 6. A home on Bird Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Anita Cartolano, of Bristol, United Kingdom, sold her home at 454 Partridge Circle to Gregory Finnegan, of Dayton, Ohio, for $1.79 million. Built in 1975, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,080 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.25 million in 2009.

The Pierre
Helene Joseph, of Fulton, Ga., sold the Unit PH-1 condominium at 455 Longboat Club Road to James and April Heddens, of Longboat Key, for $1.3 million. Built in 1990, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,780 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $612,000 in 1990.

Country Club Shores
Francisco Dominguez, of Chester, N.J., and Richard Briggs, of Long Valley, N.J., sold their home at 511 Bowspirit Lane to Derek and Rhonda Lambert, of West Royse City, Texas, for $935,000. Built in 2001, it has four bedrooms, two baths, two half-baths, a pool and 2,811 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.2 million in 2004.

Longboat Beach House
Susan Black, trustee, sold the Unit 302 condominium at 4311 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Brian Goodfriend, of North Port, for $500,000. Built in 1977, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,140 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $80,900 in 1983.

Continental’s Sea Club
Bradley Bondi, of Arlington, Va., sold his Unit 3 condominium at 5591 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Jon and Carol Ackerly, of Bowling Green, for $342,000. Built in 1979, it has one bedroom, one bath and 748 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $245,000 in 2013.

Longboat Pass
Fannie Mae sold the Unit 1 condominium at 380 N. Shore Road to BDHTRLBK LLC for $298,200. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,150 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,000 in 2006.

McCall’s Beach Castle
Linda Adrian sold the Unit 24 condominium at 5310 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Philip and Mary DiLallo, of Venice, for $280,000. Built in 1973, it has one bedroom, one bath and 711 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $230,000 in 2013.

Cedars East
Robert Menson and Margo Waite, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 33 condominium at 849 Evergreen Way to Michael Feeney and Suzanne White, of Ontario, Canada, for $260,000. Built in 1991, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,440 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $215,000 in 2010.

Longboat Harbour
Richard Williams sold the Unit 201 condominium at 4350 Chatham Drive to William and Gretchen Burns, trustees, of Mequon, Wis., for $225,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,092 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $125,000 in 1998.

Bird Key
525 Bird Key LLC sold the home at 525 Bird Key Drive to Edward and Amy Langan, of Lake Forest, Ill., for $1.15 million. Built in 2005, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,527 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $850,000 in 2008.

John Ringling Estates
Sidney Shapiro, trustee, and Alice Shapiro, of Wilmington, N.C., sold the home at 176 Emerson Drive to Kevin and Kathryn Wilcox, of Sarasota, for $895,000. Built in 1980, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,325 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $173,000 in 1987.
