4:02 p.m. — 8300 block of Lockwood Ridge Road.
Grand Theft: A man entered a store and pulled a stereo out of its box, shoved it in his pants and left the store. A loss prevention officer met up with him in the parking lot and he confessed to the crime immediately and turned over the stereo. He was issued a notice to appear in court for the theft.

7:06 p.m. — 8400 block of Lockwood Ridge Road.
Theft: A witness observed someone steal a license plate off a scooter in a fast food restaurant parking lot.
MONTICELLO LANE
MARCH 7
12:49 a.m. — 7900 block of Monticello Lane.
Burglary: A couple went out of town to Miami and returned to find their home burglarized. Someone removed the screen from a back window on the lanai and a window from a rear bathroom was open and appeared to be the exit for the burglars. Approximately $40,000 worth of items were taken, including a safe, electronics, computers, medical equipment, jewelry, furs, handbags and cash. No prints were found.

5:25 p.m. — 12000 block of Aster Avenue.
Theft: A woman reported someone stole a squirrel trap she set up behind her home in her backyard.

12:43 p.m. — 6400 block of Stone River Road.
Burglary: Someone saw a man drive up to a residence, take two bicycles from a neighbor’s open garage and flee the scene.

6:19 p.m. — 6500 block of Anchor Loop.
Fraud: A woman reported that someone used her personal identification to try and file unemployment claims and change her online banking information. The suspect was unsuccessful.

9:24 a.m. — 6400 block of Willowshire Way.
Burglary: Someone entered a house through an unlocked front door and unscrewed appliances in an attempt to steal them. No items were taken and police believe the suspect or suspects were scared off and fled the scene.
BRADEN PINE
MARCH 13
10:12 a.m. — 10800 block of Forest Run Drive.
Criminal Mischief: A man reported to police that someone broke five glass window panels on the east side of his home near the garage. Nothing was missing from the home and nothing was disturbed. Window damage was estimated at $250. Police found a rock in the garage that could have been used to break the windows. No fingerprints were collected.
