Family Promise indulges in Just Desserts

Wine, sweets and smooth music were all on the menu for the Family Promise Sarasota event the 7th annual Just Desserts Friday, March 20 at the Payne Park Auditorium. Local bakeries including Der Dutchman, Morton’s Gourmet Market and Small Batch Bakery provided more than 36 pies, cakes, cookies and cheeses.

The Al Hixon Jazz Ensemble kept the music playing during the evening.  Proceeds from the event will benefit the organization’s commitment to end homelessness in Sarasota.
