Lost Property: A man who keeps his firearm in the glove compartment of his vehicle noticed it was missing. He told police doesn’t regularly check to make sure it is in place.
April 20
3:34 p.m. — 8500 block of Cooper Creek Boulevard
Exposure Of Sexual Organs: An employee said an unknown man entered a shoe store on two consecutive days and behaved unusually. On the first day, a customer complained the man was fondling himself. The next day, an employee noticed him talking to himself while pacing. He left the store, then re-entered a few minutes later and proceeded to a mirror in the women’s department, where he pulled down his pants and exposed himself.

3:45 p.m. — 1000 block of River Heritage Boulevard
Suspicious Incidents: A woman said that someone entered her car without her permission while she was at a doctor’s appointment, took her prescription glasses, left a straw hat in the back seat and turned her wheels. Police lifted a partial print from the door handle, but while they were on scene, an office employee came outside with the caller’s glasses. Police determined the wheels were turned because of the angle at which the woman parked. The woman insisted she did not want the straw hat. Police were unable to determine whether the woman has a mental illness or dementia.

10:37 a.m. — 8200 block of Country Park Way
Criminal Mischief: A man said someone took bricks from his property and smashed them on the ground. The man believes some neighborhood kids who were running through the area could be involved but didn’t have information about them.State Road 64 East

11:15 a.m. — Interstate-75 and State Road 64 East
Domestic Disturbance: A man and his girlfriend went to the dentist in Tampa and were driving home to Lehigh Acres. The woman, who was under the influence of medication she received during surgery, argued with her boyfriend and struck him. The man was not injured. Police gave them domestic violence packets but allowed them to continue driving home together.
April 24
8:40 p.m. — 7600 block of 46th Avenue East
Police responded to a report of a loose cow. The caller said it was at least the third time in recent months that cows or goats escaped from his neighbor’s property. The property owner said she has no idea how the cow got loose.

11:10 p.m. — 900 block of 66th Street East
Information: A man received a text message from his ex-wife stating that she did not have their daughter’s medications. The man placed the medications in a box and brought them to his ex-wife’s address, but his ex-wife began texting him, saying she did not want him on the property. The man asked police to conduct a welfare check on their daughter to ensure she had enough medication. The ex-wife said she did not see the box but had enough medication for their daughter until she returns to her father’s house.

8:19 a.m. — 5900 block of 28th Avenue Drive East
Trespass Warning: A man and woman are neighbors and have constant issues about the property line. The man does not want the woman to venture onto his property anymore. Police verbally trespassed her.

7:12 p.m. — 11100 block of Lost Creek Terrace
Suspicious Incidents: A woman was in a coffee shop when she noticed her ex-friend staring at her through the window. She believes her ex-friend is stalking her and said the woman curses at her when they are both in the public areas of the apartment complex where they both live.

8:13 a.m. — 4000 block of 53rd Avenue East
Criminal Mischief Over $1,000: A woman reported that every part of her car was either keyed or spray-painted. Due to the extent of the damage, police listed the charge as a felony.
April 27
8:22 a.m. — 6500 block of S.R. 70 East
Criminal Mischief: Unknown person(s) broke the driver’s side view mirror of a pickup truck on a high school campus before leaving the scene. The suspect fled before the truck’s owner noticed the damage.
April 28
2:26 a.m. — 200 block of Cape Harbour Loop
Criminal Mischief: A woman said her ex-boyfriend, with whom she has a child, came over to her home to talk to her and began knocking on her doors after she refused. When she still did not answer, he threw an object at her window and broke it.
