Suspicious person

A woman reported to police that a woman had been living by the lake in front of her house and that multiple residents have called and want something done about her.

Police were unable to locate the woman, but there was a red backpack next to a tree near the lake, and officers told the caller to call back if she returned.

Dispute

Police responded to a dispute at a motel, in which a woman was demanding a $70 refund for her room, which she said was infested with bugs.

An employee said she wouldn't give her a refund because the woman had checked in more than 12 hours ago. She did offer another room, but the woman refused, saying it was also infested.

Trespassing

Police met with security at an apartment complex in response to three girls swimming in the pool after it was locked up for the night.

The girls said a relative used to live in the complex, so they thought it would be okay to swim there if they weren't going to damage anything. There was no damage, and the security guard only wanted them trespassed.
