Three-bedroom Sleepy Lagoon home sells for $2.9 million

A home in Sleepy Lagoon tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. James Franks and Jackie Howell sold their home at 6111 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Sidney Bennett, trustee, of Las Vegas, for $2.9 million. Built in 1943, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,599 square feet of living area. 

Country Club Shores
Edward Lowden, of Coronado, Calif., sold his home at 581 Birdie Lane to Drew and Shannon Link, of Longboat Key, for $1,125,000. Built in 1966, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,666 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $950,000 in 2012.  

William Miles II, trustee, of Chandler, Ariz., sold the home at 1060 Bogey Lane to Emily Sillcocks, of Greenbrae, Calif., for $390,000. Built in 1966, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,729 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $113,900 in 1989.  

Fairway Bay
Peter Perretti III, Ruth Perretti and Earl Perretti, trustees, sold the Unit 525 condominium at 2110 Harbourside Drive to Robert and Susan Tobin, of Longboat Key, for $850,000. Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, two and a half baths and 2,632 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,500 in 1995.

John and Nancy Harris, trustees, sold the Unit 537 condominium at 2110 Harbourside Drive to Collin and Linda Knisely, of Bradenton, for $750,000. Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,039 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $365,000 in 1994.

John and Natalka Eisch sold their home at 647 Marbury Lane to LBK LLC for $592,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,651 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $320,000 in 2009.  

The Aquarius Club
2432780 Ontario Inc. sold the Unit 2-E condominium at 1701 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Louis and Ginamaria Shapiro, of Saunderstown, R.I., for $506,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,615 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,000 in 2014.  

Bay Harbour Apartments
Kim Warren, trustee, of Longboat Key, sold the Unit 101 condominium at 450 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Mark and Tara Gorman, of Memphis, Tenn., for $430,000. Built in 1970, it has three bedrooms, two and a half baths and 2,041 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $685,000 in 2006.

Islander Club of Longboat
Richard Gold, personal representative, of East Amherst, N.Y., sold the Unit 74S condominium at 2295 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Andrew and Tanya Gorlin, of Brookline, Mass., for $400,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,235 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $155,000 in 1995.  

Casa Del Mar
Thomas Koski, of Sarasota, sold his Unit 2-B condominium at 4621 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Sasta Properties LLC for $287,500. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 828 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $512,500 in 2010.

Lido Harbour
Theodore and Betty Coleman, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 13 condominium at 1900 Benjamin Franklin Drive to James Walker, of Orlando, for $282,000. Built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,242 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $156,000 in 2000. 

Windward Bay
Christopher Martin, of Ontario, Canada, sold his Unit 13-VR-22 condominium at 4860 Gulf of Mexico Drive to William Maugeri Jr., of Annapolis, Md., for $235,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 885 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $175,000 in 2009.

Cedars East
Joanne Caccamisi, of Lakeland, sold her Unit 35 condominium at 845 Evergreen Way to EMV Ringling LLC for $227,500. Built in 1991, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,440 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $369,800 in 2004.

Beach Residences
Edward and Renata Willner, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 1009 condominium at 1300 Benjamin Franklin Drive to 1300 Benjamin Franklin LLC for $2.5 million. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 3,352 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.52 million in 2007.

Bernard and Judith Havard, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 4 condominium at 800 S. Blvd. of the Presidents to Madeline Peters, of Chester, N.J., for $350,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,060 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $285,000 in 2012.  

Lido Surf and Sand
Forrest Paradise sold his Unit 315 condominium at 1104 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Christopher Erbeck, of Sarasota, for $320,000. Built in 1976, it has one bedroom, one and a half baths and 918 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $117,000 in 1997. 

Bird Key
Larry and Deborah Kabinoff, of Sarasota, sold their home at 443 Bird Key Drive to Daniel McGovern and Teresa Peck, of Sarasota, for $849,900. Built in 1966, it has three bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 2,676 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,000 in 2013.
