9:50 a.m. — 5500 block of Lakewood Ranch Boulevard
Information: A high school principal called police because a parent complained a teacher made remarks about her daughter having small breasts during class. She wanted her allegations documented.

11:40 a.m. — 6300 block of State Road 70 East
Disturbance: A man who is a technical student approached a woman who teaches at the institution because he believed she hit his parked car. The woman cursed at the man and accused him of setting her up and committing insurance fraud. After the deputy separated the two, the woman refused to give her name and said she wanted an attorney or a restraining order. When the deputy spoke to the institution’s director, the woman blamed her illness for the outburst, then told the deputy he was supposed to be the deputy for faculty only. The deputy explained that his job is to offer safety and security to everyone on campus. He gave both parties a drivers exchange form, but the woman became upset because her address was on there, and she worried the man would follow her. The man said he would not be dealing with her. Surveillance video showed the parties were not parked next to each other on the day in question.

Information: A man reported that his ex-girlfriend is harassing him via Facebook, Twitter and text messages and is threatening to post pictures of him on social media.

5 p.m. — 5600 block of 44th Avenue East
Suspicious Incidents: A white van was reportedly turning off a road, and the driver was possibly following a group of students walking home before leaving the area.

4:06 p.m. — Intersection of 251st Street East and 79th Avenue East
Trespass Warning: A property owner demanded a group of juveniles be arrested for trespassing and swimming in his pond. Police did not arrest them because there were no signs posted on the property. The youths agreed they would not return, and police notified their parents.

11:05 a.m. — 6200 block of State Road 64 East
Theft: A woman reported the theft of her fanny pack and iPad from a shopping cart.

1:21 p.m. — 5800 block of Ranch Lake Boulevard
Criminal Mischief: A juvenile discovered that one of her vehicle’s tires was slashed.

2:42 p.m. — 5600 block of 30th Court East
Suspicious Incidents: A woman complained that her neighbors have been riding bikes in front of her property for no reason. Three days before she reported the activity, her roommate asked her if she had left the door open, which she had not, although nothing was missing.

9:05 a.m. — 6200 block of River Club Boulevard
Information: Two school bus employees reported to a middle school principal that students threw oranges, books, paper and other items all over the bus. The principal spoke to the students who were allegedly involved and gave them a warning for the time being until a video can be reviewed.

12 p.m. — 8100 block of Natures Way
Found Property: A woman called police after finding a candy machine in an apartment complex parking lot.

8:51 p.m. — 12200 block of 23rd Street East
Neighborhood Disturbance: Two neighbors with dogs have had multiple arguments over dog poop and have both been advised to pick up after their pets. Police told them not to have contact with each other and to file a complaint with their homeowners association.

4:13 p.m. — 2900 block of 31st Avenue East
Theft: A man said his roommate stole his speaker, Nintendo 3DS and a few games. He said he loaned the items to his roommate, but now he is refusing to return them.
