Four-bedroom Bird Key home sells for $3.8 million

A home on Bird Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. George Kruse, trustee, and Tara Kruse, of Sarasota, sold the home at 211 Robin Drive to Jonathan Mitchell, trustee, of West Hollywood, Calif., for $3.8 million. Built in 1966, it has four bedrooms, five and a half baths, a pool and 6,149 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $4,275,000 in 2005.

Villa Di Lancia
Billie and David Bankoff, trustees, of South Bend, Ind., sold the Unit 144 condominium at 2165 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Kevin and Mary Jo Maguire, of Longboat Key, for $1,855,000. Built in 1996, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 2,578 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.69 million in 2004.   

Grand Bay
Charles and Jacqueline Okosky, of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., sold their Unit 265 condominium at 3040 Grand Bay Blvd. to 3040 Grand Bay Blvd #265 LLC for $920,000. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, three and a half baths and 2,143 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $875,000 in 2002.   

Country Club Shores
Bart and Carol Basi, of Longboat Key, sold their home at 525 Gunwale Lane to Luis Fernandez-Moreno, of Blue Bell, Pa., for $900,000. Built in 1967, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,333 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $720,000 in 2003.

John and Virginia Peacock, of Lakeland, sold their home at 580 Bowsprit Lane to Paul Tomass, of Wayne, N.J., for $775,000. Built in 1965, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,115 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $814,500 in 2008.

Fairway Bay
Michael and Rhea Dow, of Charlevoix, Mich., sold their Unit 904 condominium at 1918 Harbourside Drive to Terry and Susan Boss, of Centreville, Va., for $706,000. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,097 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $750,000 in 2014.   

Terry and Susan Boss, of Centerville, Va., sold their Unit 1302 condominium at 1926 Harbourside Drive to Christopher and Andria Alger, of Columbus, Ga., for $375,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 1,626 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $295,000 in 2012.  

Bird Key
Christopher Hazen, trustee, of Placerville, Colo., sold the home at 470 E. Royal Flamingo Drive to Lawrence and Martha Zeigler, of Sarasota, for $675,000. Built in 1972, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,947 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $162,000 in 1983.  

Covert
Bobby Leach, of Clinton, Tenn., sold the Unit 201 condominium at 5231 Gulf of Mexico Drive to John and Ondrea Francy, of Cincinnati, for $450,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 990 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $45,000 in 1983.

Harbour Oaks at Longboat Key Club
John and Lorraine Reynolds, of Garden City, N.Y., sold their Unit 702 condominium at 2223 Harbourside Drive to Peter and Jo White, of Charleston, W.Va., for $410,000. Built in 1984, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,224 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $545,000 in 2005.

Sands Point
Joyce and Henry Cassens, of Peoria, Ill., sold their Unit 202 condominium at 100 Sands Point Road to Donald and Nadine Bradford, of Ontario, Canada, for $391,000. Built in 1966, it has one bedroom, two baths and 1,492 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $323,800 in 2003.

Turtle Crawl
Norman and Joan Beyer, of Point Pleasant, N.J., sold their Unit T-304 condominium at 4235 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Ronald and Cheryl MacRitchie, trustees, of Estero, for $358,500. Built in 1973, it has one bedroom, one bath and 720 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $345,000 in 2003.
