We want your stories for our Fourth of July tribute!

The Observer is preparing a tribute to the Greatest Generation for the Fourth of July in observance of the 70-year anniversary of the end of World War II.

If you’re part of the World War II generation, we want to hear your stories — whether you’re a veteran or one of the millions of men and women whose sacrifices at home helped secure our freedoms.

We’re looking not only for stories but also for lessons the Greatest Generation has to offer future generations, along with stories from family members of World War II veterans whom we’ve recently lost.
