Along with traditional cakes, students were also encouraged to get creative with their cake designs.
Families and the community were invited to take in the outdoors Saturday afternoon at the Out-of-Door Academy Lower School on Siesta Key.
Parents helped coordinate games for students to play like the life-size version of the Candy Land board game and cake walk. There were also inflatables, crafts, carnival rides and a chili cook off.
