Former Director of Accession Policy Curtis Gilroy, of the U.S. Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, joined the Republican Club of Longboat Key for its monthly meeting Nov. 17, at the Longboat Key Club.
Gilroy worked for the Office of the Secretary of Defense from 1991 to 2012 and spoke of current issues facing the country.
