Lakewood Ranch resident Toby Madison has spent the past couple of months building his Mid-Range Game program through a series of Friday Night Hoops events.

Now, Madison, who coaches Lakewood Ranch High’s JV basketball team, is preparing to launch his own AAU travel basketball program.

The multi-level travel program will be called Skills First and will operate under the Mid-Range Game umbrella.

“I have a vision of where this program can be in a couple years, and I think it is highly likely it will become the destination basketball program in our area,” Madison says in a statement.

Madison will be hosting a booth at Music on Main Oct. 2 to promote the program. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to shoot for prizes while learning more about Skills First and Mid-Range Game.
