East County High 5 Moments: 10.08.15

1 — The Lakewood Ranch High boys cross-country team scored 53 points to win the Bradenton Runners Club XC Invitational Oct. 3. 

2 — The Lakewood Ranch High volleyball team clinched the second seed in the Class 7A-District 11 tournament with a 3-1 victory against rival Braden River Sept. 29. 

3 — Cardinal Mooney’s Tyler Ross finished sixth in the Varsity B division of the FSU Invitational Oct. 2 with a new personal best time of 17 minutes, 40 seconds. 

4 — The Lakewood Ranch High girls golf team shot a combined 164 to beat Manatee and Braden River in a tri-match Sept. 29. 

5 — The Out-of-Door Academy girls golf team swung past Cardinal Mooney 195-250 Sept. 30.
