1 — Sarasota senior Adam Bradtmueller set a new personal best time of 15:23 and finished second overall in the Elite Division of the FSU Invitational Pre-State Cross Country Meet Oct. 3. 

2 — The Riverview High volleyball team beat Venice 25-21, 25-20, 27-29, 25-17 Oct. 1. 

3— The Riverview High boys golf team won its third tournament of the year, finishing first at the Clearwater Central Catholic Invitational Oct. 3. 

4 — Cardinal Mooney swimmers Matthew Garcia, Matthew Nutter and Jillian Santiago all won individual Sarasota County Swimming Championships Sept. 30. 

5 — The Out-of-Door Academy girls golf team swung past Cardinal Mooney 195-250 Sept. 30.
