A print of a photo of the Swan Bandwagon built in 1907 taken by Frederick Whitman Glasier is part of the Glasier collection in the Ringling Museum of Art. The photo was printed with an article from an issue in 1998 when museum architect and planner presented options for expanding the Ringling Circus Museum.

A search for answers began in 1988, when a trailer for a joint recycling project between the Siesta Key Association and Siesta Village Merchants Association got burned. A witness said reported seeing a white male entering the trailer shortly before the fire; arson was suspected to be the cause. A $300 reward was offered to help solve the crime that along with recyclables, also burned up fundraising hope for the project. At the time of the fire the trailer that contained the recyclables was two-thirds full.
