Sarasota Christian breezes into district final

The Sarasota Christian volleyball team beat St. Petersburg Canterbury 3-0 Oct. 20.

The Sarasota Christian volleyball team swept St. Petersburg Canterbury 25-3, 25-23, 25-14 in the Class 2A-District 9 tournament Oct. 20. 

Cheyenne Miller paced the Blazers with seven kills and three aces. McKenzie Lantz added four kills and an ace. Cassie Bontrager added one kill and six aces. 

Sarasota Christian will play for the district title Oct. 22.
