Oct. 18
Intersection of Carolina Street and University Parkway
A man on an ATV was driving on University Parkway without a license plate and was driving recklessly, weaving in and out of traffic. A deputy followed the ATV and attempted to stop him on the right side of the road. The man turned from the westbound to eastbound lanes to avoid the deputy. A second deputy followed the ATV eastbound on University Parkway. The ATV driver looked back at the deputy, then attempted to cross a ditch to avoid the law enforcement. However, the maneuver caused the ATV driver to get stuck in the ditch.

4900 block of 79th Street East
A man called the Sheriff’s Office because his ex-fiance came to his house and took several items from his garage. The two had been living together, but broke up, and the woman had found another place to stay and was getting her belongings from his home. The man could not be sure exactly what she had taken except he knew she took a chest freezer and several boxes of unknown items.

6600 block of 12th Avenue East
A man woke up and went outside to find that two passenger side tires of his vehicle had been punctured and were flat. He told the Sheriff’s Office that his tires had been fine the day before when he arrived home and parked his car. He also told the Office that he recently broke up with his girlfriend and suspected she had punctured the tires, because she was upset about the break up.

7500 block of Preserves Court
A resident called the Sheriff’s Office because she had not seen her neighbor in a week, and newspapers were piling up outside the home. Two deputies entered the home, and checked the garage, cabinets, vehicle and rooms for the neighbor with no luck.
