East County High 5 Moments: 10.29.15

1 — USF sophomore Kat Elliott, a 2014 graduate of Braden River, was named the American Goalkeeper of the Week after posting two shutout victories for the Bulls. It was the fourth time she had won the award.

2 — ODA eighth-grader Terra Ehrhart finished second overall out of 60 runners at the Class 1A-District 7 Cross-Country Meet Oct. 23 at GT Bray Park. 

3 — The Nolan Middle School girls soccer team beat King Middle 5-0 to win the Middle School Championship Oct. 27. 

4 — The Lakewood Ranch High boys cross-country team qualified for the regional meet by finishing third at the Class 4A-District 8 Cross-Country Meet Oct. 27 at GT Bray Park. 

5 — Annie Shaw contributed 30 assists, two blocks, one kill, eight digs and two aces in the Cardinal Mooney volleyball team’s 3-0 victory against Tampa Catholic in the Class 4A-District 9 semifinals Oct. 20.
