Sarasota High 

Gagg threw four touchdown passes to lead Sarasota to a Class 7A-District 11 victory versus North Port Oct. 23. With the win, the Sailors improved their record to 4-4 on the season. Gagg completed 12 of 26 passes for just more than 250 yards. 

 

TOP PERFORMERS 

Sarasota wide receiver Talik Keaton caught six passes for 150 yards and three touchdowns. 

Sarasota backup quarterback Xakari Hawkins threw a 69-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to secure the victory for the Sailors. 

Booker wide receiver Osirus Giles-Mitchell finished with nearly 110 receiving yards and caught a pair of touchdowns. 

Booker quarterback Arthur Brantley threw touchdown passes of 2 and 25 yards. 

Cardinal Mooney senior Jake Santiago intercepted a pass to set up first-and-goal from the 5-yard line. Following the change of possession, Santiago took the handoff and scored on a 5-yard run.
