Sarasota High 5 Moments 09.03.15

1 — Sarasota Sharks swimmer Austin Katz finished third in the 200 backstroke at the World Junior Swimming Championships last weekend in Singapore. 

2 — Sarasota senior Adam Bradtmueller finished won the Lemon Bay Invitational boys varsity 5K Aug. 29, with a time of 16:40:00. 

3 — The Sarasota 15-Under Babe Ruth All-Stars finished third at the 15U Babe Ruth World Series, in Lawrenceburg Tenn.

4 — Anikka Jensen finished with 11 kills, one ace and one block to lead Sarasota Christian to a 3-0 win versus the Manatee HEAT Sept. 1. 

5 — The Sarasota High volleyball team opened its season with a 3-0 victory over Lemon Bay Aug. 27.
