Beach Residences condo sells for $2.7 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between August 17 and August 21.

A condominium in the Beach Residences tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Eric and Leah Payne sold their Unit 502 condominium at 1300 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Reid and Suzanne Campbell, of New Canaan, Conn., for $2.7 million. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 3,964 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.67 million in 2013.

Sanctuary at Longboat Key Club
Michael Plunkett, trustee, Timothy Plunkett, Todd Plunkett and Douglas Plunkett, of Sarasota, sold the Unit C-106 condominium at 535 Sanctuary Drive to William Sterling, of Longboat Key, for $2.02 million. Built in 1990, it has three bedrooms, three and a half baths and 3,115 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.2 million in 1996.

Emerald Harbor
Alycia Craft, trustee, of Longboat Key, sold the home at 701 Old Compass Road to Christopher and Joyce Dumas, of Longboat Key, for $800,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,982 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $675,000 in 2001.

Longboat Beachcomber
Dennison Corp. sold the Unit 21 condominium at 2729 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Alex and Courtney Tetterton, of Cumming, Ga., for $575,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,380 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $120,000 in 1992.

The Privateer South
Michael Granet, trustee, of Cumberland Md., sold the Unit 905 condominium at 1000 Longboat Club Road to Ralph Verdino, of Philadelphia, for $540,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,290 square feet of living area.

Harbour Villa Club at the Buccaneer
Albert and Ruth DeFilippis, of Bradenton, sold their Unit 205 condominium at 615 Dream Island Road to Fred and Pamela Bohen, of Palm Harbor, for $431,500. Built in 1985, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,293 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $370,000 in 2009.

Sarasota Harbor East
John Levick Jr., of Sarasota, sold his Unit 37 condominium at 775 John Ringling Blvd. to Laura Brunson, of Sarasota, for $355,000. Built in 1965, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 882 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $292,000 in 2004.

Spanish Main Yacht Club
Robert and Constance Gilmore, of Celebration, sold their Unit 38 condominium at 805 Spanish Drive N. to Janet and David Selvig, of Beaufort, S.C., for $312,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,405 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $260,000 in 2004.

Antoinette Fiumos and Arnold Smolen, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit 124 condominium at 532 Spanish Drive S. to Stephen Coyle and Patricia English, of Cinnaminson, N.J., for $310,000. Built in 1966, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,241 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $75,000 in 1991.

Longboat Harbour
Karen Feinberg, of Longboat Key, sold her Unit 103 condominium at 4440 Exeter Drive to Juergen and Christine Wache, of Berlin, Germany, for $255,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 992 square feet of living area.

David and Rhonda Olschefskie, of Manchester, Conn., sold their Unit 203 condominium at 4330 Falmouth Drive to Ronald and Kerry Royer, of York, Pa., for $250,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 928 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $123,000 in 2013.

St. Judes Apartments
Eleanor Brown, of Lynn Haven, sold her Unit 28 condominium at 747 St. Judes Drive S. to Bruce and Robin Sozzi, of Redding, Conn., for $240,000. Built in 1967, it has one bedroom, one bath and 667 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $55,000 in 1995.
