Every other Tuesday, this neighborhood pub, in conjunction with Dec Seven, hosts this free event, which includes comedy, music and spotlights on local breweries. 


WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 9

Cigar and Craft Beer Pairing Dinner — takes place at 6 p.m. at Gecko's Grill and Pub, 351 N. Cattllemen Road. $45.

Enjoy dinner, beer and a smoke with Maduro Cigar Bar, Gecko's and Motorworks Brewing Co.

Tickets must be purchased at Maduro Cigar Bar on University Parkway. Admission includes Perdomo cigars, paired with craft beer from Motorworks and an Italian buffet.


THURSDAY, SEPT. 10

Bradentucky Bombers Comedy Night — takes place at 7 p.m. at McCurdy's Comedy Theatre, 1923 Ringling Blvd. $15.

The Bradentucky Bombers are hosting a fundraiser for their upcoming bout against the Key West Derby Dames on Oct. 24th.

Enjoy comedy from headliner Julie Scoggins, a regular on XM/Sirius Blue Collar Radio, a raffle, a silent auction and your favorite derby girls skating around McCurdy's.


FRIDAY, SEPT. 11

Local Evolution Craft Market — takes place at 5 p.m. at Darwin Brewing Company, 803 17th Ave. W. Bradenton. Free.

Local beer and local crafts are the focus of this recurring event and collaboration between Geraldson Community Farm and Darwin Brewing Company.

Meet your local farmers and artisans and enjoy freshly prepared food, local music and craft beer in a beautiful brewery setting. Dogs welcome.


SATURDAY, SEPT. 12

Art, Rhymes and Beer — takes place at 6 p.m. at JDub's Brewing Co., 1215 Mango Ave. Free.

Check out a showcase of live art, musical performances and beer.

This event, which serves as a live music video shoot for local hip-hop artists, Ryanito, Monteasy  and Janelle Christine will also feature food by Polpo Pizza Co. Live art by Richie Brasil, Sean Snapp, Jeremy Bealer and Jack Quack, and music by Ocean Symphony ,Cliz ,Janelle Christine ,Monteasy and Ryanito.


SUNDAY, SEPT. 13

Drag Queen Bingo Brunch — takes place at noon at Social Eatery and bar, 1219 First St. $35 in advance, or $45 at the door.

Nothing goes better with Bloody Marys and mimosas than Beneva and Bingo.

Presented by LDG Productions, Social on First is serving up its delicious brunch fare while you play Bingo with your favorite drag queen. This adults only game is sure to entertain.  Ticket includes brunch, two drinks and four games of Bingo.
