Coastline Volleyball Club, in Bradenton, and Boomtown Volleyball Club, in Sarasota, announced the two clubs will be merging together to form Coast Town Volleyball.

Coast Town Volleyball aims to provide an unmatched quality of training for its athletes and their families. Braden River High volleyball coach Matt McElhiney, who ran Coastline, and Sarasota High volleyball coach Chad Sutton, who ran Boomtown, are looking to combine the strengths of what both clubs provide to elevate the overall quality of play.

“Although it seems competitive between the clubs at times, working together is the clear solution to providing the highest degree of instruction and experience,” McElhiney says in a statement. “We are excited to bring together such a talented group of coaches and hardworking players.”

Both clubs will continue to post information to their respective websites until the new site is finalized.
