Employees and guests were welcome to dress in traditional lederhosen and dirndl dresses. A special menu for the day included Bratwurst with roasted apple, onion and sauerkraut. There was also German spargelcremesuppe, that is a white asparagus soup, chicken schnitzel with boiled potatoes tossed in butter and parsley.

An Oktoberfest celebration wouldn’t be complete without the main attraction of German beers. On tap for the occasion were Weihenstephan Dunkel Weiss and Festbier, Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest and Ayinger Brau Weiss. Customers who purchased one of the brews were able to take home a traditional beer stein. Beer selections will be on tap until they run out.

A polka band struck up later in the evening beneath the trees of the beer garden.
