Mixon Fruit Farms Gets Crafty

Mixon Fruit Farms was filled with crafters on Sept. 26. Artists displayed and sold their products, which ranged from jewelry and scarves to pottery and essential oils.

Mixon hosts its summer craft fairs on the fourth Saturday of each month from April to September.

“These craft fairs are pretty good,” Rae Darby, of Pins n’ Needles, said. “I did a few of the past ones. I’m new to the area, so it’s a good way to get started here and show off my products.”
