Water Club condo sells for $2.7 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between March 21 and March 25.

A condominium in The Water Club at Longboat Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Richard Wellek, trustee, and Susan Wellek, of Northbrook, Ill., sold the Unit PH1108 condominium at 1281 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Harmony Three LLC for $2.7 million. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and 3,273 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.2 million in 2009.

Fairway Bay
Maureen O’Brien, of N. Kingstown, R.I., sold her Unit 541 condominium at 2110 Harbourside Drive to Jeffrey Zhaohuai Liu, of Longboat Key, for $849,000. Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,550 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $735,000 in 2000.

Longbeach Village
Frances Raskin, trustee, of New York City, sold the Unit 21 condominium at 7115 Gulf of Mexico Drive to David and Marcia Morgan, of Washington, D.C., for $382,500. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,170 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $125,000 in 1980.

Ann and Jeffrey Mohl, trustees, sold the home at 635 Owl Way to William Edwards and Alissa Shulman, of Sarasota, for $1,075,000. Built in 1968, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,842 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $84,500 in 1974.

Allan Varner, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 302 condominium at 350 S. Polk Drive to Peggy Lovejoy, Daniel Kind, Amy and Ryan Lovejoy and Brandon and Keagan Lovejoy, of Onalaska, Wis., for $303,000. Built in 1977, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,036 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $120,000 in 1994.
